Wade made first team all-county after getting 4 int’s and a few FF’s too. Looks like he played a lot of Cover 3, so he was comfortable playing over top of the offense and making breaks on the route tree, which makes you think that some potential safety at the next level. At 6’2″, he has a good frame, and obviously solid enough instincts to secure 4 interceptions. Wade is a good athlete, but will need to improve quickness to play CB at the next level. I like the physicality he plays with though, he hits with authority – really like the explosiveness he hits with. But, Wade could do a better job of wrapping up and hitting lower. Shoring up his tackling technique should really take his recruitment to another level, because right now, he projects the best at FS. In a zone-heavy scheme, Wade shows the position versatility to plug and play for a team, especially in a pinch with his flexibility to play CB or safety.
