Wilcox has good speed coming out his stance for a guy with his body composition. He is pretty quick with his hands getting off blocks and disengages with the lineman pretty quickly to make a play on the RB. Wilcox is very strong with his hands, he gets good leverage, and strong enough to knock an offensive lineman off using just one hand. At only 250 lbs he is a bit undersized, but think the 2020 DT’s ability to read the play, shade in that direction and disrupt the action is a skill to have. Didn’t play his junior year – maybe on a new team? No action on Twitter, but that’s not new either.
