Fitzpatrick has the size, agility and strength we look for in FBS linebackers. He runs with a natural forward lean, and is instinctive with his pursuit angles. He has a really quick first step, and quickly reads the play from his linebacker spot. From last summer he’s gained about 15 pounds, and should continue to fillout his frame to an ideal weight of 235. The 2019 recruit is a solid 1 v 1 tackler, but we would like to see him wrap more and explode through the hips. We expecting to hear his name a good bit this offseason in terms of FBS offers, so stay tuned.
