Johnson know’s where his potential lies at the next level, and considering his skill set, and natural instincts playing out in the flat, he can really close quickly on the ball carrier. The 2019 recruit is a quick accelerator, and playing within the principles of a zone defense he can flourish. Would like to see him get more reps in pass coverage, especially when he is isolated against a receiver in man coverage. No doubt he does a great job of reading the play, and is reacts quickly once he has it snuff out. He’s a tough player no and his ability to play physical against the screen game makes for a desired target.
