Ward has the type of frame to really catch your eye honestly. From all reports, he is now two inches taller than last fall and now 6’2″. The 2023 linebacker got a lot of experience last year as a freshman. He is pretty tenacious coming off the edge and shows good closing speed with the ball carrier. I like the hustle he shows, that’s consistent on each play of his film. Ward is definitely a recruit to watch progress the next few years. He started off HS well with a high GPA too.
