Holmes finished off the year with 9 interceptions, which was near the tops in Georgia. He has really good length at 6’2″ and his long arms give him a wide radius. There is more to it than that though; Holmes does a great job of reading the QB’s eyes and consistently plays at the right depth in the secondary. I would like to see him attack the pass more in the secondary, and sometimes he just relies on his natural size. Holmes dominates lesser competition like you would expect, but his athletic ability is not eye catching really. Improving his tackling and becoming more explosive could introduce some FBS interest, but for the most part I think he is an FCS caliber player until he shows more physicality to his game.
