Senior year Lewis had 84 tackles, 52 of which were solo and 11 tackles for loss. He also had 2 sacks and a blocked punt. He plays really well with his eyes, does a nice job of backpedaling and reading the play in passing situations. Pass coverage is certainly his best skill, but he also does a nice job as a blitzer and reacting to run plays as well. He has a quick first step, covers a lot of ground in 10-20 yards. He plays the game fast, reads the play and attacks the offense. Fundamental tackler, just drills the ball carrier in the midsection and drives his legs through the contact. Evans can really become an excellent WILL at the next level. FCS and D2 schools should absolutely check him out.
