Nichols has legit speed and can turn the ball up field and blow by the defense. He shows a nice little hesitation juke move that he does at the 2nd level. Nichols has good pad level, a natural forward lean to his run. This offseason he had a strong year in track, and there is a good potential you see more home run plays for the 2019 back. He does a good job of using his speed to get the most yards possible, and I like the cut backs he make at the sideline to get a few extra yards. Spring film we saw Nichols make much harder and quicker cuts. He shows some really quick feet and a bouncy running style that is hard to line up on.
