He is tough fighting after yards, but would like to see his pad level improve more. The 2019 recruit is just a good all-around little football player. He has really good strength, and his compact body type can pack a punch. Burse has pretty good acceleration, you might say he has a good burst. The senior is a good team player, he flows to the football and gets low when make a tackle attempt. Does a nice job meeting the ball carrier in the hole, keeps a flat back and drives his legs through the opposing player. Burse has some potential as a blocking back at the next level. He is quick firing between the gaps and I like his strength to bring down players larger than him.
