Watkins has good straight line speed and we saw this spring he ran about a 11 second 100M. He is a well schooled back who angles his pads forward and hits his top speed right when he gets the ball. Watkins has really good vision, understands when to cut back, and can read how a seam will open 10-15 yards down field. That of course makes him a dangerous returnman but also adds an element to his game as a pass receiver in the screen game. The running instincts Watkins displays cannot be taught, and we think more mid-majors will show interest. His work ethic is on another level.
