Clinton does a solid job of playing out in space and is pretty quick getting around the field. Shows solid urgency getting into the backfield – has several sacks in 2019. Pretty good tackler and a nice quicker first step. Clinton needs some time to fill out, but he’s a pretty good football player who is super overlooked at the moment. I like his versatility too. Gets pretty depth in pass coverage, and moves well in a zone defense. Plus, that length is really nice against the spread. Needs to get a bit quicker with his hip rotations, but his ability to cover ground in pass coverage is very noteworthy. I really am impressed with his change of direction, and think Clinton is pretty heavily slept on at the moment. Very interested to see how he checks in this fall. He’s a pretty good tackler, at least does a nice job getting low, but needs to see more consistency wrapping up at the thighs too.
