Nelson has a low center of gravity and a quick choppy runny style which allows him to change direction rather quickly. Overall, he shows good athletic ability bumping it to the outside but where he needs to improve is running in between the tackles. At times he gets too upright, which sets him up for some rather big hits. Nelson needs to work on his flexibility as well but really like his passion for the game and think he will do the necessary work get more college attention.
