Williams finished the regular season as the states leading rusher with over 2000 yards. He has a compact body, strong lower body and elite acceleration when going thru the hole. Williams runs with good pad level, and has a natural forward lean. He doesn’t do much juking, and just relies on his top end speed to beat soon-to-be poor pursuit angle. The 2018 back had easily the best season in Georgia at running back and was a workhorse for his team carrying the ball 251 times. Only two teams held him under 100 yards rushing and both send players to the FBS/FCS level each year. Williams is tough as nails.
