Madden was an impressive DL prospect for Arabia Mtn. last year. At 6’4″ and 225 lbs. he definitely has the frame to be a good edge rusher. Very good length, arms seem to be very long and he does a solid job of setting the edge and forcing the run back in. Didn’t notice him in the Milton game, might actually be having trouble getting reps with all the DL they have on roster. Madden is all about upside – his sophomore film looks pretty good, and he shows the frame to play P5 football. Production was solid too, but want to see him be more physical when taking on a block, and tackling is just not good right now. Way too many arm tackles and seems to lose balance easily too.
