What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a team player first that will not be outworked by anybody. Starting my first year as an OLB this season after starting on the O line my Sophomore year. I was moved because I am a very aggressive player who is physical and has a nose for the ball.
Hellgeth has a strong upper body and gets really low when taking on blocks. He is fairly new to linebacker after playing DE for Landmark, but shows some decent position. Would like to see him improve his power clean and hip flexibility and should help his ability to change direction dramatically (note Hellgeth hurt wrist & going light on PC). Hellgeth has solid size, and should be able to add another 20-25 pounds over the next few years. We would like to see him really play a larger role in the passing game with more pass breakups. Hellgeth had over 80 tackles this year and was first team all-region.
