Jones has good size at 6’1″ and makes haste of his tackle getting the ball carrier quickly to the ground. He has very good closing speed and his long legs allow him stride out and not get beat deep by WR’s. Honestly he shows a lot of potential at any of the defensive back spots, and his ability in run support gives us the impression that he could be a free safety at the next level. Jones is pretty underrated right now, he had a handful of interceptions, and some minor changes in his footwork when in coverage will lead to more PBU’s. We were expecting the senior to be a true breakout player in Georgia and his latest film meets those expectations.
