Dowden has an absolute boot and easily has one of the strongest legs we have seen in the state of Georgia. He had one blocked FG last season, and we do see from further out he can push it forward a little too much and not get height but that will come with more practice and strength training. On kickoffs he consistently get the ball into the endzone and he’s a pretty good punter as well averaging just around 40 yards with good hang time. Dowden has been mostly hearing from FCS this offseason but we think he is in store for a strong SR campaign.
