Hughes 2017 film indicates what we have thought all along, and he is now playing free safety, where he looks like a natural. He has great acceleration and his experience from playing quarterback seems to have translated nicely playing back at his FS spot. He recognizes the play quickly and his explosive athleticism is a difference maker. Hughes has Power 5 size and his film is starting to make a serious case for more interest from that rank. He is already a physical player who flies to the ball and should be able to weigh around 215-220 in college.
