Usher is a bowling ball coming off the edge. HE is a physical player, and after getting a lot of reps on the defensive line he is lining up more on the edge standing up. Usher has pretty good agility and patience reading the ball carrier. He jumps the snap quickly and has good energy coming off the edge. He is physical, loves to hit. To some extent we see Usher getting looks as a FB at the next level, but also think he could play linebacker too. At 5’9″ and 230 lbs. he has pretty good speed, and he broke off a 60 yard run against Berrien where he burned the defense easily. Definitely an interesting change of pace type of back. I think his upside is best as a powerback at the next level.
