Sims has been a playmaker all the way back to his freshman year in high school. He is a smart football player who reacts to the play quickly. Tackling is really good, drops hips and meets the ball carrier right at the waist. Keeps head up on his attempts. Sims is a solid cornerback prospect who uses his hands very well to get blocks. Had probably 4 interceptions on the year as a junior. Tackling is very good, that’s by far his best quality, but not sure about his overall speed, and could be a liability to get beat. Sims is a well trained DB, he gets a lot of his frame, and does a very good job of playing the screen pass, cannot stress that enough.
