Phillips has a quick release and is an even quicker decision-maker. He has a nice touch from around 40 yards in. He drops passes in nicely over the zone and keeps his eyes scanning the field when flushed out of the pocket. Phillips throws well on the run and maintains good balance when throwing across his body.
