Hayes is a space eating defensive tackle and depending on his arm length he could make a solid nose tackle at the next level. Plays with heavy hands and gets off his blocks well. Like how he pursues the ball and continues to hustle from the backside. Hayes has a lot of potential but needs to flatten his back and work on hip flexibility, which will improve his overall explosiveness.
