Roberson played WR/RB last year, and he does a nice job of hitting top speed right away. His agility and running vision though is what makes the 5’7″ back such an interesting recruit. He certainly does get lost behind the LOS. Roberson has good vision and uses his blocks pretty well. He can make a cut on a dime, and just blows right by the defenders – you can see the frustration after each play from his opponents. The 2021 back is set to be the primary guy at RB this year, so it’ll be interesting how he produces, but should be over 1,500 all-purpose yards in 2020. I would like to see him more at receiver, his quickness in the slot would be a good way of exploiting his quickness. Not sure that’s in the fold for this upcoming fall, but definitely an area to exploit at the next level.
