Leak is a good coverage linebacker with solid speed to get out to the sideline. He plays the game at 100 MPH, and whether he is playing linebacker or fullback he goes full tilt. He shows above average agility too – decent in man coverage but looks better in a zone. He broke the Heard County tackling record as a junior with around 140 on the year. He does a really nice job of keeping his pads parallel to the line of scrimmage. Incredibly high motor which makes up for his lack of size. Love how he tackles through the ball carrier and the reactions he shows out on the field. He shoots the gap and gets down hill. Leak might not be the biggest recruit, but his ability to flow to the football quickly is unmatched and just seems to have that alpha mentality you want to lead a defense. Gets real low on his tackles and can drop a ball carrier with his immense strength. Was not fully healthy his senior year, but still manage to create a high amount of turnovers.
