What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My physicality is something that sets me apart. Most athletes won’t do what I do as fast and as powerful as I bring it. This also makes me a reliable tackler. I give 100% effort every play and have phenomenal chase. I feel like I can compete with any with my abilities.
Hill goes downhill when defending the run, and is really getting right into the hole to make a tackle. The 2019 linebacker meets the blocker with strong hands, and good momentum. He does a pretty good job getting off his block. The senior shows good energy getting to the football, and has enough strength to stand up a ball carrier in the hole, then drive him back. He’s a solid athlete, has a pretty good frame to work with – weight lifting numbers suggest a good body composition. Hill is really cutting his teeth this season it seems, so it’s worth monitoring how he improves the rest of the season. I would like to see him get a bit lower with his tackle attempts, really try to drop his hips and meet the ball carrier because he comes in a little too high at times.
