Patrick has a shake to his game, and was one of the leading rushers early on in the state. Jumping into his later season film against tougher competition and you see some of the big plays get regulated to shorter distances, but he still did pretty well. Going against Peach County he found ways to slip by tacklers and then keeps his pads low enough to fall forward on contact. Patrick has a nice hesitation to his running style, and is quick enough to pull it off. Needs to work on his top-end speed. Really like his running style though, if he can get over 190 lbs in the next year then he could really become a factor, and I think every FBS school should be keeping a close eye on the 2021 back. Once Patrick gets to the 2nd level he is dangerous with faking out defenders. Could really stand a year on the track team, but also the added muscle should make a huge difference too.
