McDaniel is a fluid runner with a long stride, making him very hard to catch once he breaks free. The two-way player looks to have some potential at QB, but as of right now, we really like his rangey body at FS. The rising junior honestly looks like a cannot miss Power 5 caliber athlete wherever he ends. He is a very physical player with elite acceleration that you look for when the pads are strapped on. McDaniel is almost up 200 pounds and his fluid running motion is ideal for a spread athlete and just slides in and around tackle attempts. He’s honing his passing skills this offseason so we are very interested to see if he makes a jump in that aspect of his game.
