What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I'm a playmaker and can be depended on in the toughest moments. I may be short but I'm a physical and quick CB that isn't afraid of contact.
Hawkins is a good athlete with fairly quick hips, which allows him to rotate over and make plays in either direction. The young cornerback shows solid coverage skills and rarely gets beat deep. He does an excellent job of reading the receiver’s route and anticipating where he is going. Hawkins is also a physical player, willing to step and stop the run. We saw him take down a few 3 star running backs in open field. Solid CB prospect that DII and III schools should be all over.
