Balanced runner with great field vision and ability to make defenders miss in the whole. Ability to catch out of the backfield.
Barnum is very strong and compact running back that has a lot of athletic gifts. Really like his ability as a receiver coming out of the backfield – Barnum has excellent balance and a natural forward running motion which allows him to gain important extra yardage. He is an extremely tough football player, and has dedicated his entire high school years to football. Senior year he is showing more of that low center of gravity, and tough running in between the tackles getting tough yards. He a solid 3rd down type of back with above average potential in the passing game in screen situations.
