Hill increased his weight by almost 30 lbs. in the last year and is now a lot closer to 300 lbs. He is pretty quick out of his stance. Hill times the snap consistently. Couple that with his solid blend of speed and power and Hill really is able to get into the backfield and create some havoc. Hill needs to be more impactful with his hands at the point of attack. He has pretty decent fundamentals, but would like to see more force. His quickness though is really what separates Hill from other 290 lbs. DT. He is adept at splitting the A gap. Hill is a very good fit to play 3-4 DE at the next level. His athleticism and activity at his size is a perfect fit.
