Crumbley has really added the weight and is now up to 285, a 40 lbs. increase since last year. The senior out of Putnam County showed above average hustle in his 2020 film coming from the weakside, fighting through a lot of blocks and cleaning up tackles. Last year he played off the edge, but expect the 2022 to be in the middle in 2021. Crumbley is a raw athlete, but shows good quickness in the hands and feet. He still needs work getting off blocks, but there are some impressive flashes where he rips through with a swim move and is in the backfield before you know it. I would like to see him drive his legs through the tackle attempt more, right now he tends to lose his footing and just rely on his size. Crumbley would be an interesting athlete to try out at OL, the added weight over the last year might make him a good candidate. Either way, we really like the general size and hustle that Crumbley consistently shows on film – couple that with his above average athleticism and we think the 2022 is a sleeper in this class.
