The lefty kicker gets some legit distance on his balls for a sophomore. What I like about Maddox is that he looks good in all 3 facets of special teams. He gets good height on kicks, even from distance where he goes for 46 & 48 for his longest of the season. Maddox is pretty effortless in his approach and just smoothly rips off long kicks. Kick offs are going to the back of the endzone and he shows excellent hang time in his punts too. At 6’2″ 165 lbs. with the raw power he already shows, I think Maddox should be around 190 at college and more than capable of kick from 50 yards out or being good punter too. The ball legit leaps off his foot, and as an underclassmen he looks very good.
