Talk about the difference a year can make. George was just 210 lbs. this time a year ago, and now at 250. The coaches have talked a lot about the powerful defender. His wrestling background is an obvious perk. George uses his hands pretty well to get off blocks. He’s also playing OT for Collins Hill, getting very good leverage. He is physical at the point of attack, gets good extension while engaged. George is a steady football player, he should get solid interest over the next year here. The 40 lbs increase over one year is a huge difference, definitely worth watching how he continues to fill out here. Definitely a good blocker too, drives his legs and gets good leverage as mentioned earlier. George might be a better fit at C at the next level.
