What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Because I can do any job that I am asked to do, big or small, and play any position.
Jackson was a starter as a sophomore for Jenkins, who was one of the best teams in 3-A last year. He just continues to add weight over the last few years, probably about 30 lbs. each year of HS and is now at 310 lbs. Jackson has a legit frame to work with. Against Beach he did a solid job – does a good job of driving his legs through the block. Good back arch while engaged. He could definitely get stronger up top tho. Gets very good leverage and solid pad level. Jackson has definitely continued to improve his lower body strength, he legs look much stronger. Overall he is finishing at a higher level, but it’s still very early in the season. Overall Jackson has good blen of technique, athletic upside and size. FBS schools will definitely be interested. Next step is seeing how he has progressed in pass blocking.
