Williams needs some work with his fundamentals based off his junior film, but he has above average acceleration and hip quickness which makes him a good fit at CB at the next level. His quickness is especially noteworthy, and he certainly ended up with his fair share of INT’s on the year as a junior. Looks to have added good weight now up to 165 lbs., and I really like how hard he is working this offseason with his footwork, smoothing out his backpedal. Williams is a hard worker, and that kind of dedication will carry him well during his recruitment. He is now down at Valdosta for his senior year. One thing that has always stood out from watching Williams is his length too, the 2021 cornerback has long break-up radius.
