Jones has been gaining experience over the years at Washington, and during that time he has become increasingly comfortable at the main QB position. Attentive feet in the pocket with a springy movement to make quick changes in direction. Has grown a few more inches and now 6’2″. Pretty solid release point on his throws, but could be quicker too. Very good feel when reading the defense and can fit passes in between different levels of a zone defense. Does not run too much. Definitely a pocket passer in approach. Leads the receiver pretty well, throws a catchable pass that is soft.
