Gilbert is certainly a quality athlete with excellent size. At 6’3″ 220 lbs. watching him go through offseason workouts and the general agility he has on film will catch your eye. He definitely needs to be a little bit stronger at the point of attack, but once he starts driving his legs he can be pretty tough as a run blocker.That’s probably Gilbert’s best quality at the moment. In the GACA all-Star game he did have a long reception on a wheel route. Gilbert definitely has the frame to be around 250 lbs. He is a quality athlete, that cannot be said enough, and a little more time with his run blocking and I think he could really get the attention of FBS programs.
