The 2021 recruit had one of the highest yards per carry in the state as a sophomore while also hauling in 7 interceptions. There is not many athletes that demonstrated the overall versatility that Morehead has, at least in class A. He is a tough tackler in solo situations whether he tries to go around or even over the defender. Very tough runner, seems to be filling out his frame even more lately and getting more yards after contact than he did a year ago. Morehead has good speed, but would not say that it is blazing. Much stronger in the lower body, doing a very good job of driving his legs through the opposition. Morehead is increasingly looking like a FS at the next level as he continues to fill out. Change of direction is just not that good to be a CB at the next level. Doesn’t look as fast on film as he did as a sophomore.
