We have been watching Shannon since his freshman year when he was bulldozing his way through defenders even then. The powerful, and stout back is a good goalline option, and does a nice job of keeping his pads low and driving his legs. He is a FB no doubt at the next level, he doesn’t really show the lateral quickness or explosiveness to be a back at the next level. Definitely like his power though, and he has some huge blocks as well. Shannon has powerful hands and can just blow a defender up when he hits them straight on, but would like to see him move his feet with his block and not just rely on his upper body strength. Shannon consistently drives the pile and I definitely like how he fights for extra yardage.
