Scroggs started the year at offensive guard for the state champions of Buford. The big powerful offensive linemen came into high school already weighing right at 270 lbs. and had an early offer from Wofford right out of the gate. He does a solid job while engaged keeping a flat back and shows good leg drive. I would like to see him continue to work on hand placement and to get up on his toes when run blocking. He does a nice job of sealing off his assignment but could stand to work on foot quickness, especially moving laterally. Couple his good size and fundamentals and Scroggs should field solid FBS interest the remainder of his recruitment as you can expect more and more P5 programs checking him out. The class of 2022 offensive guard is still just 15 years old and given the right training, could really explode in the weight room over the next year. Scroggs has transferred over to Grayson for his junior year.
