Williams had a strong year making honorable mention all-state. The 2020 linebacker is a big hitter with a nice heavy set frame. Does a nice job of reading screen passes and tenacious getting after the ball carrier. Williams slings down ball carriers like they weigh nothing. Tackling could be better though from a fundamental stand point, needs to do a better job of squaring up on his attempt and dropping his hips. Too many arm tackles, but it was effective last year none the less, and that says a lot about Williams desire and motor on the field. Going into his senior year, Williams is a preseason All-State nominee, and someone that local colleges should be keying in on. Of note, he has lost a little bit of weight this offseason and has gotten stronger with his core.
