Allen is an underrate QB with good size and the arm strength to extend the defense way down field. Allen can toss the ball out to the sideline and shows good velocity to his ball. Mobility needs to improve, and wouldn’t expect Allen to be scrambling much in college, but does fight hard for extra yardage when he needs to. Allen is a tough player. He goes into the defense and shows a lot of resolve running it right into the teeth. Needs to stay patient in the pocket seems to get antsy in the pocket and is on the move pretty quickly. Allen just needs to wait for the game to come to him with how strong his arm is and the size he shows. Allen is one of those 2020 QB’s to watch for this fall, Dalton should be a solid team in 6-A, and if he can extend the defense consistently, it will really open the offense for All-State back Jahmyr Gibbs to do his thing.
