Foy was a flat out physical cornerback last year at Glynn Academy. His in your face play style lacks no confidence and he does not back down from the competition. He is reportedly an inch taller and 10 lbs heavier heading into his junior year. Foy has good football instincts, he does a nice job of pursuing from the backside and cleans up tackles on players much bigger. Hips change direction very quickly, which allows for him to get downhill and make a tackle – constantly closing on the ball carrier. He’s an interesting prospect for sure, as he got a ton of reps at CB last year, but not completely sold on his speed to play their at the next level, or at least playing NB, where his tackling can bust up screen plays. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him get some reps at running back this year too, which could be an interesting development. Either way, need to see more speed, and if he has in fact grown, because Foy is a highly skilled player.
