What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
What makes me stand out as a future collegiate athlete is my work ethic on and off the field, football IQ, and leadership by example.
Richardson has played exceedingly well in the middle of the field for Wheeler. He’s added about 90 lbs to his squat, and a good 30-40 to his other major lifts over the last year, which is good progress as a whole. Richardson has pretty good instincts at linebacker, and uses his speed to cut off ball carriers before they can get downfield. He’s extremely effective on perimeter running plays. Richardson is still a WIP in the gym, but does a good job of filling the hole regardless. Needs to continue to improve on power clean, will help with explosiveness. Runs a 11.6 100M time, which is his best track time from our notes, that seems about right when watching his film. Hips need to be more flexible/stronger, tackling is improved junior year but would like to see him be more consistent from tackle to tackle. Solid class of 2020 linebacker, has good instincts at reading the run and clogging up the gaps.
