Henderson was mostly a JV player his junior year, but in terms of athleticism, he was head and shoulders above his peers. Playing at one of the biggest high schools in the state means stakes are high. He’s an explosive player no doubt, his 9’4″ broad jump and standing vertical at 31.5″ indicates Henderson has a lot of upside. He was used a good bit in tunnel screens where he gets up field quickly. Against Lanier this spring he made one catch where he got up field in a hurry, and honestly just needs to get some varsity reps. Needs to work hard in the weight room this offseason, he has a light frame, but cannot deny his natural explosiveness – more time in the weight room and he could make a really nice jump in 2019.
