Gibbs hits the hole harder than most backs in his recruiting class, he gets downhill with a nice forward lean and shows nice acceleration right when the ball gets into his hand. The Dalton scat back has some legit wiggle to his hips, and his ability to change direction, while setting up defenders to take a bad angle is a natural talent, and makes him dangerous in the open field. Gibbs has excellent balance, and going up against some talented defenses he was able to break through a lot of tackles. Gibbs can slash right through a defense and his ability to get up field quickly is a real talent. He has a more slight frame, but cannot teach his open field instincts and fearless running style. He could be extremely effective out on the perimeter, especially catching screen passes out to the flat. Just under 2000 yards of all-purpose offense his junior year.
