Williams is a new transfer over from Mountain View, and played really well his junior year at Collins Hill. What the 2020 recruit shows is focus. When the ball is up for grabs, he doesn’t just have the hands in the right spot, but also the feet to put himself in good position. He has pretty good reactions, if not even a little too aggressive. Williams is right in your face, he does a good job of defending screen passes for his size. Skill set transitions well to specials teams, especially as a gunner. Needs to continue to work with hip quickness – Williams is a solid looking 2020 DB prospect that should get D1 interest. Made some nice plays over the course of his junior year, ripped out a few ball to force fumbles. Definitely has strong hands, can jam a receiver at the LOS and he can really release up field. Needs to get more physical getting off blocks, and tackling can still get better, but Williams is a solid coverage field corner.
