Holmes shows some legit potential as a 3-4 OLB, I absolutely love his mindset coming off the edge and he is relentless fighting off his block and getting into the backfield. It’s just pure effort in combination with above average athleticism that makes Holmes such a quality recruit. He can close on a ball carrier well, shows excellent acceleration to the football. Redirects hips naturally, I think he can make the transition to linebacker. Love his energy, speed and excitement for the game – really think Holmes will be a D1 recruit.
