Spurlock definitely has a track background, and just watching his first few clips and it’s clear the the 2020 recruit is an explosive athlete. He’s got pretty quick feet and moves well with the receiver in press coverage. Spurlock can jump, that’s a fact, which gives him a great opportunity to make play on jump ball situations. Overall I’m impressed with his ability in coverage situations and his footwork in general. The 2020 athlete shows the potential to play multiple DB positions at the next level with how solid of a tackler he is on film. Came away impressed with his Elite GA game, he showed a pretty light back pedal and held his own against some of the better receivers in 2020.
