Johnson played in some two back sets. He made his big play last year where he broke an almost 99 yard touchdown against Heard Co. The 2019 back has solid size, and certainly looks the part. Still, he is looking to truly make an impact at the varsity level. Needs to work on pad level and getting lower than the defender. Johnson has the body type colleges are looking for, but less than impressive JR film doesn’t have many heads turned his way for now. A big SR year would certainly change that, and he is a candidate to have a breakout senior year no doubt.
